| Pretty Girl had a Line Back Dun, Stud Colt this morning (March 15, 2007). He was not due until April 15th by our calculations. He is very small and weak. He had not eat by the time we found him. He was about 2 hours old. We helped him eat all day. At midnight, we had almost given up. We decided to leave him with his mom and check on him every 2 hours. At 2 a.m., he was already getting stronger. We are still helping him every 2 hours as of noon on the 16th. We think he may pull through this. The picture above shows the Sire and Dam watching over him as he sleeps. The Sire is 93% Foundation Quarter Horse and the Dam is American Quarter Horse. The Colt will be registered in the American Quarter Horse Association. We will keep everyone updated on his progress. If he makes it, he will be one spoiled baby. |
| Today, March 19, 2007, the colt is strong. He is 4 days old. He is still tiny compared to all the other fillies. He doesn't need any assistance from us anymore. Here are some pictures that I took today. |
